Trump Administration Says Anti-Bias Law Doesn’t Protect Gay Workers

The Justice Department filed an amicus brief on Wednesday that called for a federal appeals court to rule that a civil rights law doesn’ts bar job discrimination based on sexual orientation, according to The Washington Post. President Donald Trump also tweeted that same day that he would ban transgender people from serving in the military, an abrupt change of the Obama administration’s policies and one that caught the Pentagon off guard.
