Ohio Executes First Inmate In Three Years Using Lethal Injection

Ohio executed a man on Wednesday in the first execution after a three-year delay, signaling a possible resumption of capital punishment in the state, according to ABC News. Ronald Phillips was executed by lethal injection without any of the complications that had caused concern of the state’s last execution and prompted the governor to pause any scheduled executions.
