Dutch Police Make Arrests Over Eggs Contaminated With Insecticide

The Dutch prosecution service announced Dutch Police arrested two suspects on Thursday in their investigation into the illegal use of a potentially harmful insecticide in the poultry industry, according to The Guardian. Millions of eggs have already been pulled from European markets after a recall was issued for the use of the insecticide fipronil, while hundreds of thousands of hens may be culled to further curb the threat in the Netherlands.
