Ohio executed a man on Wednesday in the first execution after a three-year delay, signaling a possible resumption of capital punishment in the state, according to ABC News. Ronald Phillips was executed by lethal injection without any of the complications that had caused concern of the state’s last execution and prompted the governor to pause any scheduled executions. Foxconn Expected To Announce Plan To Build New Factory In Southeastern Wisconsin

The Washington Post reported one of the world’s largest electronics developers Foxconn will announce plans Wednesday to build a new factory in southeastern Wisconsin which is a much-needed win for President Donald Trump and Gov. Scott Walker, according to four officials with knowledge of the plan. The facility located in Southeast Wisconsin in House Speaker Paul Ryan’s congressional district, will create flat-screen displays. It is unknown how many jobs would be generated, the report said. Thousands Evacuated As Wildfires Threaten French Riviera

French authorities had to evacuate around 12,000 people near Cote d’Azur as wildfires continued their third day of threatening the French Mediterranean coast on Wednesday, according to The Los Angeles Times. A wildfire began late Tuesday in the dry forests around La Londe-Les-Maures before it was pushed further south by mistral winds to Bormes, a popular tourist spot at the height of the summer season that is surrounded by dense forests.
